Managing your schedule efficiently is one of the best ways to stay organized and in control of your real estate business. Whether you’re planning a day off, a focus session, or personal time, blocking off your calendar ensures that clients and teammates know when you’re unavailable.
In this quick guide, we’ll show you how to block time on your calendar — either directly through AgentMoves or using Google Calendar.
Option 1: Block Time Using Google Calendar
If you prefer using Google Calendar on your computer, here’s how to do it:
Open Google Calendar.
Click Create and select Out of Office.
Choose your date range — for example, Friday through Sunday.
Decide whether to automatically decline new meetings during that time.
Click Save.
After saving, your blocked-off days will appear on your calendar, showing that you’re unavailable.
When someone tries to book a meeting with you through AgentMoves, they’ll see that your next available time starts after your “Out of Office” period — for instance, Monday at 8:00 AM.
💡 Tip: You can always override your blocked time by selecting Custom Booking in AgentMoves if you personally need to schedule something during those hours.
Option 2: Block Time Directly in AgentMoves
You can also block time right inside the AgentMoves app:
Go to your Calendar in AgentMoves.
Click Blocked Off Time.
Make sure your name is selected.
Add a title (for example, Time Off).
Set your start and end times (e.g., 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
Save your changes.
Your blocked time will now appear in your AgentMoves calendar — and others won’t be able to schedule you during that period.
Which Method Should You Use?
Both methods work perfectly — it just depends on your preference. Many agents find Google Calendar easier for blocking multiple days or longer breaks, while AgentMoves is great for quick schedule updates right from the app.
Final Thoughts
Blocking off your calendar is a small step that makes a big difference. It helps you protect your time, avoid double bookings, and maintain a healthy balance between client meetings and personal downtime.
So whether you do it through Google Calendar or AgentMoves, make it a habit to set your schedule with intention — your future self will thank you!
