How to Create Workflows in AgentMoves: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Log in to AgentMoves
Go to agentmoves.io.
Log in to your account.
Select the correct sub-account/location from the top-left dropdown.

Step 2: Navigate to Workflows
From the left-hand menu, click Automation.
Select Workflows.
Click the “+ Create Workflow” button (top right).

Step 3: Choose How to Start the Workflow
You’ll be prompted to choose a starting point:
Start from Scratch – recommended if you want full control.
Use a Template – useful for common automations (lead follow-ups, reminders, etc.).
👉 Select Start from Scratch.

Step 4: Name the Workflow
Enter a clear workflow name.
Example: New Lead – Facebook Form Follow-Up
(Optional) Add a description so your team knows what it’s for.
Click Create.

Step 5: Add a Trigger (Required)
Triggers define when the automation starts.
Click “+ Add Trigger”.
Choose the trigger that fits your use case, such as:
Form Submitted
Contact Created
Tag Added
Pipeline Stage Changed
Configure the trigger settings:
Select the specific form, tag, pipeline, etc.
Click Save Trigger.
✅ Your automation will now start whenever this condition happens.
Step 6: Add Actions (What Happens Next)
Actions are what AgentMoves does after the trigger fires.
Click the “+” icon below the trigger.
Select an action, such as:
Send Email
Send SMS
Add Tag
Create Task
Add to Pipeline
Wait
Configure the action details.
Example: write the email or SMS message
Click Save Action.
Step 7: Add a “Wait” Step (Optional but Recommended)
To space out communication:
Click + → select Wait
Choose:
Time delay (e.g., 1 hour, 1 day)
Or wait until a specific condition is met
Hit Save.
This prevents messages from going out all at once.
Step 8: Build the Full Automation Flow
Repeat adding actions and wait steps until your workflow is complete.
Example flow:
Trigger: Form Submitted
Action: Send SMS
Wait: 1 Day
Action: Send Email
Action: Add Tag
Action: Create Task for Agent
Step 9: Test the Workflow
Before turning it live:
Use a test contact.
Manually apply the trigger (submit form, add tag, etc.)
Confirm:
Messages are sent
Tags are applied
Tasks are created correctly
Step 10: Publish the Workflow
Toggle the workflow from Draft to Publish.
Confirm the workflow status shows Published.
🎉 Your automation is now live!
Best Practices (Quick Tips)
Always name workflows clearly
Use tags to track automation progress
Avoid overlapping workflows that trigger from the same action
Ensure automations are tested and working correctly.
