Inbound Call Routing to the LeadConnector Mobile App

Inbound Call Routing is the process that happens when a prospect calls back the phone number from a text message or the phone call that they received from AgentMoves outbound number. 

When a campaign sends out text messages or calls, the outbound phone number is the number you set up under Settings > Phone Numbers.

Step 1: How to set up Inbound Call

  1. When logged into your account Head into 'settings' > 'My Staff' > Click the 'Edit' button 

  1. Scroll down to 'Call and Voicemail Settings' > Assign a number to the user

  1. In the My Staff tab, click on the edit icon on any of the users with a phone number. Select forward calls to the mobile App

How does it work?

When the checkbox is selected all the calls made to the number will be routed to the mobile app. The mobile app will receive a notification and pick up a call.

Note: You will need to have a valid number in the system in one of the following places: Call forwarding number, User Phone Number, or Company phone number. Inbound calls will only work if one of these three numbers are valid.

Integration with LC Phone: 

The CRM utilizes LC Phone, a leading cloud communication platform, to manage inbound calls. This integration allows users to assign a specific inbound LC Phone number to their user profile, centralizing communication and making it more manageable.

User Profile Setup: To start receiving inbound calls, users must first have a phone number assigned to their profile. This is achieved by navigating to the 'Settings' section, selecting 'My Staff', and then editing the user profile. Within the 'Call and Voicemail Settings', users can select the desired inbound LC Phone number to associate with their profile.

Forward Calls to Mobile App: A crucial step in the setup process is checking the box labeled 'forward calls to the mobile app.' This action ensures that all incoming calls to the assigned number are directly routed to the user's mobile device, where they can be answered through the CRM's mobile application.

Enhanced Accessibility: By assigning a phone number to their user profile and enabling call forwarding to the mobile app, users significantly enhance their ability to stay connected with clients and colleagues. This feature is particularly beneficial for professionals who are often away from their desks but still need to maintain high levels of responsiveness and communication.

Mobile App - Inbound Call Transfer

The Inbound Call Transfer feature enables seamless call handoffs directly from your mobile app. You can transfer live inbound calls to other staff members, either with or without staying on the call, making it easier to manage client conversations in real-time. This offers both blind and warm transfer options, providing more flexibility in handling calls and ensuring smoother communication within teams.

How to use it:

  • Answer an inbound call as usual on your mobile app.

  • Tap the “Transfer” button in the top-right corner.

  • Choose a contact from your staff list or recent calls.

  • Select either Warm Transfer to stay in the conversation or Blind Transfer to disconnect yourself and transfer the call.

DND Enhancement

The DND (Do Not Disturb) feature has been streamlined for mobile use, allowing you to quickly mark contacts as DND with just one tap, directly from your current screen. Whether you're managing incoming calls, reviewing call logs, or handling conversations, this update ensures that you can block unwanted contacts immediately without navigating through multiple menus.

How to use it: You can now mark a contact as DND directly from the incoming call screen, call logs, or the main conversation screen by swiping a thread and selecting the DND option.

Make Calls On-the-Go Without Buying a Business Number

You can call leads directly from the mobile app using your own SIM number, without the need to purchase a business number.

Simply tap the call icon in the app (within Contacts, Opportunities, or Conversations), and your phone’s native dialer will open with the contact’s number pre-filled. No additional configuration is required, and it works seamlessly with your mobile SIM plan.

Q: Will the app use my mobile plan for calls?

Yes, the app uses your mobile SIM plan for dialing, and calls will be billed according to your mobile plan’s terms.

FAQ

Why am I getting two calls?

When an Inbound call is made, the call will be forwarded to the mobile APP via one of these Call forwarding numbers: User Phone Number, or Company phone number.

If I am logged in to more than one device will I get called on all the devices?

Yes, you will get calls simultaneously for up to 10 devices you are logged into. When any of the calls are received the remaining will disconnect automatically

What if I am part of multiple accounts and have inbound calling enabled?

You will only receive calls on the account you switched to last. The app will remember the last account's details and the calls will continue to come in for the last account.

If you switch to an account where inbound calling is not available you won't be getting calls from any other account

What happens when I get two calls and I pick up one?

Calls will be automatically disconnected if one of the simultaneous calls is picked either from the device or natively.
