How to Add and Manage Tags in AgentMoves

Organizing your contacts is essential for effective follow-ups, personalized communication, and smart marketing. In AgentMoves, tags make it easy to group and label contacts based on shared traits, sources, or relationships—so you can find and manage them quickly.
What Are Tags?
Tags are identifiers that help you categorize your contacts. For example, you can create tags like Past Client, Open House Lead, or Neighbor Referral to keep your database clean and meaningful.
You can view all tags directly from the Contacts section in AgentMoves. Each contact record includes a Tags column—if a contact has tags applied, they’ll appear there.
AgentMoves also generates some automatic tags. For example, if a contact’s email address seems invalid, the system will automatically tag it as Unknown Email Address for easy reference.
Step 1: Add a Tag to a Single Contact
To tag an individual contact:
Open the Contacts section.
Click on the contact you’d like to edit.
Scroll to the Tags area at the bottom of their profile.
Type in your desired tag (for example, Neighbor or Referral).
Tags save automatically—you don’t even need to hit “Save.” Once added, you can instantly search for that tag to view all contacts who share it.
💡 Tip: If you want to track the source of your contact (like “Neighbor”), you can also add that under Contact Source for even better organization.
Step 2: Add Tags in Bulk
If you want to tag multiple contacts at once:
From the Contacts list, check the boxes next to the contacts you want to tag.
Click Add Tag.
Choose an existing tag or create a new one.
Add a short description (for example, Added “Past Client” tag to 20 records).
Click Add to apply the tag to all selected contacts.
This feature is perfect for batch organizing your database after events, imports, or campaigns.
Step 3: Remove Tags in Bulk
Need to clean things up? You can also remove tags in bulk:
Select the contacts you want to update.
Choose Remove Tag.
Pick the tag you’d like to remove (e.g., Neighbor).
Confirm your action, and AgentMoves will remove it from all selected contacts.
